Scale made visible

Character height varies, bases add height, and dramatic poses change the final dimensions. The Etsy listing is always the final authority.
Common collectible scale
1:12 scale
A six-foot character is roughly six inches tall before pose, headwear, base, or scenic elements are added.
Large display scale
1:6 scale
A six-foot character is roughly twelve inches tall before the base and composition increase the final display size.

Read the exact listing
Each Etsy listing should identify whether a make arrives assembled, partially assembled, or as prepared parts; whether it is painted or unpainted; and what accessories are included.
- Check finished dimensions—not scale alone.
- Confirm whether assembly is required.
- Confirm whether the piece is painted, primed, or raw resin.
Assembly basics
Test-fit before glue
Multipart resin makes generally benefit from a dry test-fit before permanent assembly. Cyanoacrylate glue is commonly used, but the listing or included instructions should control.
- Identify every part before beginning.
- Dry-fit joints and alignment points.
- Use a small amount of appropriate adhesive.
Finishing
Prime for the material
Clean, dry resin typically accepts hobby primers and paints well. Fine details reward thin coats rather than one heroic blast from the can.
- Make sure the piece is clean and fully dry.
- Use a primer intended for plastic or resin models.
- Build color in controlled layers.
Care
Protect heat and delicate details
Keep resin collectibles away from excessive heat, prolonged harsh sunlight, and positions where delicate elements can be bumped.
- Dust gently with a soft brush or low-pressure air.
- Support the base—not a weapon, wing, or thin feature.
- Display on a stable surface.
